Coordinating the cake and the drinks
The secret to an elegant look: use the same design throughout. A Ø 12 cm on an icing sheet for the cake, Ø 6 cm on wafer paper for the glasses. Another size? Mention it in your quote request.
Which cocktails should you choose?
The topper needs a dense foam to float: sours made with egg white or aquafaba, frothy mocktails, espresso martinis, café crème. Allow about 15 to 30 minutes of good visual hold, as a guide: it all depends on the foam, the drink and the humidity. Avoid ice cubes on the surface and crushed ice.
Organising the service
- Order one disc per guest, plus a few spares.
- Leave the application to the bartender: the disc goes on at the last minute, just before serving.
- Keep the discs dry, away from heat and steam.
- Plan a personalised mocktail: children and guests who don’t drink alcohol love it too.
