An LED coaster adds light beneath the drink without changing the recipe. The effect is instantly visible in a dark room, yet it stays elegant when the colour highlights the glass rather than overpowering it.
“I travel the world to track down spectacular bar equipment. Every guide I write follows the same principle: the effect must enhance the recipe and remain manageable for the team.”

LED Coasters: Light Up Your Cocktails Without Complicating Service
What the guest experiences
A clear effect, linked to the recipe and presented at the right moment.
What the team controls
The equipment, the consumables and a repeatable procedure during service.

- Enough battery life to last the whole service.
- Simple charging and a designated storage area.
- A diameter that keeps your glass or cloche stable.
Choose between white and multicolour light
White light shows off clarity, ice and bubbles. A multicolour model lets you match the shade to an event or a creation, but rapid colour changes can make the result feel less premium.
The Flavour Blaster LED coaster offers several colours and modes. The manufacturer states more than twelve hours of battery life and around four hours for a full charge. Even so, build your own check into your pre-opening routine.
Match the light to the drink
- White for a clear martini or a transparent cloche.
- Orange for a citrus cocktail or a warm atmosphere.
- Pink for red berries and brand events.
- Blue or purple for a late-night party.
- Green for a herbal or tropical profile.
Create a charging procedure
Number the units, charge them on rotation and make a note of any with weak battery life. Keep the USB-C cables in a dedicated charging station. The button under the product must stay accessible without the server having to take the whole presentation apart.
Using it with a cloche
Light placed under a cloche accentuates the vapour or the aromatic bubble. Check that the base is stable and that the diameter doesn’t make it wobble. Wipe up splashes immediately to keep the light even.
Frequently asked questions
Can it be used under any glass?
Check the diameter, stability and weight of the glass. A very narrow or irregular vessel needs testing first.
Should the light be left flashing?
Steady mode is generally easier on the eye in hospitality settings. Save flashing mode for the odd special moment.
