Evebot designs food printers that print logos, photos and messages on the foam of coffees and cocktails, and on some desserts. From the portable pen to the countertop machine, here’s how to find your way.
“I’ve seen these machines running at trade shows, weddings and coffee shops. My honest opinion: there’s no ‘best’ model, only the one that suits the way you serve.”

What is Evebot?
Evebot is a brand of inkjet food printers. The principle: a print head deposits edible ink on the foam of a coffee, a cocktail or a beer, or on certain pastry surfaces. Logos, names, messages, photos and even selfies: everything goes through, in a few seconds.

Our opinion, model by model
PrintPen: the most versatile
It’s the best-selling food printer in our shop. Light and wireless, it follows bartenders at events, at caterers or on terraces, and prints just as well on a cocktail as on a macaron. Its only “flaw”: it takes a little knack to position it well, which you pick up after a few tries.
Mini machine: the coffee shop choice
Put the cup down and the printing happens by itself. With its camera, it prints the customer’s selfie on their foam: a guaranteed hit on social media. Its 200 dpi is more than enough for logos and messages.
Pro machine: the finest
600 dpi and around fifteen seconds per print: it’s the machine for high-volume venues that want a very sharp result, photos included.
Multicolour Pro machine: colour
For colour brand logos and premium events. Printing takes longer (40 to 50 seconds): factor it into your service pace.
What to check before buying
- The height of your glasses: 5 to 24 cm for the Mini machine, 5 to 18 cm for the Pro machines.
- Your foam: it must be dense and smooth. Fee Foam is the ideal base for cocktails.
- The cost per print: a PrintPen cartridge (€115.99, 18 ml) is rated for about 3,600 prints, i.e. around 3 cents each. A machine cartridge (€89.99) is rated for 800 to 1,000 prints, i.e. around 9 to 11 cents each.
- The warranty: 2 years parts and labour on countertop machines.
- Image rights: only print logos and photos you have the right to use.
Inks and cartridges
Evebot inks are edible, vegan and described as tasteless: they don’t alter the drink. Machine cartridges comply with European Regulation EC 1333/2008 and FDA standards; PrintPen cartridges keep for 12 months unopened and 6 months after opening.
Each model has its own cartridges: PrintPen cartridges (black, brown, red, green) and machine cartridges (brown, gold, green). To go further, read our guide to food-grade ink.

Frequently asked questions
Does Evebot really work?
Yes: the results are sharp from the very first uses. Quality depends mainly on the foam (dense and smooth) and the image (sharp and high-contrast).
Which Evebot should you choose for a café?
The Mini machine or the Pro machine, which print on their own while you prepare the next order. The PrintPen suits you if you also serve at events.
Do you need an app?
For the PrintPen, yes: a mobile app is used to choose or create the design. Countertop machines don’t need one: images are sent via Wi-Fi and QR code.
Where can I buy an Evebot printer in France?
