A wedding cocktail bar is a place where guests gather… and a show. Here are seven easy-to-set-up attractions so that every glass becomes a memory, and a photo.
“Guests forget the menu, but never the moment a smoke bubble burst above their glass. At a wedding, the cocktail bar is a stage: you might as well make the most of it.”

Seven attractions for the drinks reception, and how to organise them
For guests
A fun moment during the drinks reception and photos they’ll share for a long time.
For professionals
Bartenders, caterers, wedding planners: an attraction that gets noticed and sells.

7 attractions for a wedding cocktail bar
1. The scented smoke bubble
The bubble gun places a bubble filled with scented vapour on each glass, which bursts at the first touch. Choose an aroma that matches the theme: rose, lavender, red berries, vanilla. All our tips in our article on bubble guns and weddings.
2. The couple’s names on the foam
With a Stylo Print, the names, the date or a little heart are printed in seconds on the foam of the cocktails. No printer? Order your personalised edible toppers, ready to place on the glasses.
3. The frothy signature cocktail
A sour with white foam, in the wedding colours. With Fee Foam, the foam is egg-free: handy for vegan or allergic guests, and much faster to serve.
4. The smoked cocktail under a cloche
The cloche is lifted in front of the guest and the smoke escapes: a striking effect for whisky or rum cocktails. All the techniques are in our smoked cocktail guide.
5. The printed selfie
A printing machine with a camera photographs the guest and prints their portrait on the foam of their cocktail. The edible photo booth!
6. The glitter swirl
Edible glitter and an electric frother: the cocktail starts to sparkle in a swirl. Ideal for the evening toasts.
7. The dry ice cloud
A white mist flowing over the bar: spectacular, but to be handled with care. Read our dry ice or liquid nitrogen comparison before you start.

Organising the bar: the checklist
- A short menu: 2 or 3 cocktails, including at least one alcohol-free option for children, pregnant women and drivers.
- One attraction per moment: bubbles at the drinks reception, printed names for the toast, smoke cloche at dessert.
- A dedicated person: the attractions need a bartender who does nothing else at peak times.
- Plenty of refills: a 10 ml aroma bottle gives about 250 bubbles, a bottle of Bubble X about 1,000. Our refills guide helps you count.
- A trial run before the big day: test the bubbles on your actual cocktails. On sparkling drinks, they stick less well: plan for support spoons.
Place the bar in a well-lit spot with a dark background: bubbles and smoke stand out much better in photos.
Alcohol abuse is dangerous for your health; drink responsibly.

Frequently asked questions
Which attraction for a small budget?
The round smoker kit or edible toppers ordered individually: the effect is there, without a big investment.
Are smoke bubbles safe?
There is no flame or combustion: the gun heats a food-grade aroma, with no nicotine. The bubble liquid simply shouldn’t be drunk as is.
Can you print names without buying a printer?
Yes: design your personalised edible toppers and we print them for you.
Which alcohol-free cocktail should you offer?
A frothy mocktail (lemon, syrup, fruit juice and Fee Foam) topped with a scented bubble: just as photogenic as the others.
